In-house Patent Attorney – Engineering/Chemistry – Netherlands

We are pleased to be working on an exciting opportunity for a qualified UK and European patent attorney to join the established and successful in-house IP department of a prominent multinational company. This role is to be based in the Netherlands, and the company is specifically looking for an attorney holding both UK and European practising certificates and a substantial working knowledge of patent issues in these jurisdictions.

Responsibilities will include the preparing and filing new and priority-claiming patent applications before the EPO and the UKIPO, as well as patent prosecution and portfolio management.

In terms of background and experience, the company is seeking:

  • a dual (UK and European) qualified patent attorney
  • a background in mechanical engineering and/or chemistry; and
  • demonstrable patent preparation and prosecution experience.
